Integration
The HALO24 requires a compatible Simrad display and Ethernet connection for radar control and video. NMEA 2000 can provide GPS, heading, AIS, autopilot, and other sensor data, but it does not carry radar video.
VelocityTrack Doppler can help distinguish approaching from diverging targets through color cues. ARPA and radar overlay require compatible heading and position data. The 48 NM rating is instrumented range; actual detection depends on target size, scanner height, weather, rain, sea clutter, radar configuration, and installation conditions.
