Integration
The B200 requires an AIS/VHF antenna or approved splitter, correct MMSI/static vessel programming, and a compatible MFD, computer, or mobile application for full target display. It is not a VHF voice radio, chartplotter, radar, EPIRB, or a guarantee that all traffic will be detected.
The dedicated DSC watch receiver monitors DSC signaling but does not make the B200 a substitute for a Class D DSC VHF radio. AIS and DSC information depend on correct antenna installation, valid MMSI programming, radio coverage, and other vessels transmitting accurate data.
