OPSIN is designed to produce usable color imagery under very low ambient light and can record or share footage through its mobile connectivity.
Integration
OPSIN is a portable digital night-vision monocular rather than a wired marine camera or MFD network device. It does not use NMEA 2000, Ethernet video, radar overlay, or chartplotter control. Its Wi-Fi and Bluetooth features are intended for compatible SIONYX mobile-app connectivity and media handling.
The viewing result depends on ambient light, haze, rain, spray, lens condition, distance, target contrast, and display settings. It is an observation tool, not a replacement for navigation lights, radar, lookout duties, charts, or safe navigation procedures.
