Its 44° field of view and Black Silicon CMOS sensor are designed to deliver a color image in starlight conditions where conventional cameras often need added lighting. Need a fixed low-light camera for docking, channel work, or checking the water ahead after sunset? The white Nightwave provides 720p video over BNC output, supports SIONYX app connectivity, and mounts permanently to a deck, hardtop, or other stable surface.
Integration
The Nightwave is a fixed low-light camera, not a radar, chartplotter, or NMEA 2000 device. Its BNC analog video output requires a compatible monitor, MFD video input, or appropriate video-conversion arrangement. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are for compatible SIONYX app functions rather than chartplotter network-video integration.
Low-light cameras can improve visibility under available ambient light but do not guarantee detection or identification of people, vessels, buoys, debris, or hazards. Camera performance is affected by light level, glare, spray, fog, rain, lens condition, target contrast, and mounting position.
