Give a compatible marine display a fixed starlight-capable view with the SIONYX Nightwave Ultra Low-Light Digital Navigation Camera in White. The Black Silicon CMOS sensor and 44° field of view are designed to provide a usable color image in very low ambient light, helping operators observe the bow area, docks, channel edges, and nearby activity during nighttime boating. Looking for a dedicated low-light camera rather than a thermal unit? The Nightwave combines 720p BNC video output, 12V operation, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth app connectivity, and a compact IP67-rated white housing.
Integration
The Nightwave is a camera only; it does not include a display, chartplotter, radar, GPS receiver, NMEA 2000 connection, or Ethernet IP-video output. A compatible analog video input is required for displaying the BNC feed. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are intended for the SIONYX mobile app, not for direct MFD video networking.
Available ambient light, moon phase, nearby shore lighting, weather, rain, fog, spray, target contrast, and lens condition all influence the image. Low-light cameras can supplement nighttime awareness but do not guarantee recognition or detection of navigational hazards.
