Vexilar FL-8SE GENZ Pack w/19 Ice Ducer

The Vexilar FL-8SE Genz Pack with 19-Degree Ice-Ducer, model GP0819, is a classic portable three-color ice-fishing flasher system for real-time vertical sonar. It uses the FL-8SE flasher display and a 200 kHz, 19-degree Ice-Ducer to show weaker returns in green, medium returns in orange, and stronger returns such as the bottom in red. The Genz Pack carrier is designed for portable use and fits on a standard five-gallon bucket.

The system includes the FL-8SE flasher, 19-degree Ice-Ducer, Genz Pack carrier, 12V 9Ah sealed lead-acid battery, and charger. It offers ten interference-rejection settings and a stated maximum depth range of 120 ft. This is a sonar-only ice-fishing system with no GPS, charts, waypoint storage, NMEA networking, wireless connectivity, or route-navigation functions.

System Integration

The FL-8SE Genz Pack is a standalone ice-fishing sonar system and does not need a chartplotter, GPS receiver, NMEA 2000 network, external sonar module, or separate power source. The 19-degree Ice-Ducer provides a broad sonar cone suited to the supplied flasher configuration.

Use the depth range, gain, and ten interference-rejection settings to suit the water depth, lure depth, fish targets, bottom composition, and nearby flasher interference. The system shows real-time sonar returns but does not provide maps, GPS position, routes, or waypoint data.
