The Phasor K4-21.0 is a low-speed high-output marine diesel generator for vessels requiring 120V or 240V single-phase 60Hz AC power. It produces 21 kW continuous output using a Kubota V2403-M-E4BG four-cylinder diesel engine and a direct-coupled brushless generator with solid-state voltage regulation. The standard unit operates at 1,800 RPM and is supplied in an open-frame configuration, with a sound enclosure available as an option.

The generator uses freshwater cooling through a heat exchanger with an engine-driven raw-water impeller pump. It includes a remote instrument panel with oil-pressure, coolant-temperature, voltage, and hour-meter gauges, along with low-oil-pressure and high-coolant-temperature shutdown protection. A full vessel installation must include fuel, cooling-water, exhaust, ventilation, starting-battery, AC distribution, shore-power isolation, grounding, and circuit-protection systems.

System Integration

This generator requires a high-capacity marine electrical and mechanical installation. Add diesel fuel feed and return, raw-water intake and strainer, wet exhaust system, ventilation, start battery, AC breaker panel, shore-power transfer switch or interlock, grounding and bonding, and appropriately rated 120V or 240V 60Hz cabling.

Confirm whether the boat uses 120V, 240V, or split-phase distribution. Calculate all continuous loads, peak simultaneous demand, power factor, and motor-starting surge before selecting generator capacity. If three-phase output is required, verify availability of a correctly specified Phasor configuration rather than assuming this single-phase model supports it.

Before Ordering

Confirm required continuous and surge load within 21 kW, 120V or 240V single-phase 60Hz compatibility, available 1,035 mm by 533 mm by 660 mm installation space, structural support for the generator weight, required open-frame or sound-enclosure configuration, diesel fuel layout, raw-water intake, exhaust route, ventilation capacity, starting-battery circuit, AC distribution and transfer-switch design, grounding plan, service access, and qualified marine-generator installation requirements before purchase.
