Skipping reverse cycle heating draws slightly less current than the equivalent reverse cycle unit — 10.4A versus 11.4A — since there’s no reversing valve to power. For boats cruising exclusively in warm climates with no real heating need, that’s a reasonable trade-off for one less system that can eventually need service.

Like the reverse cycle version, this unit is only available in 220V — there’s no 110V or 230V configuration of the M24. Confirm your boat’s electrical system supports 220V before ordering, since there’s no alternate voltage path on this model.
