FLIR M300C – Single Payload HD Marine Camera (No JCU)

Its 30× optical zoom, 1080p sensor, and two-axis gyro stabilization give operators a controlled visual view without adding a thermal imaging payload. Integration

The M300C needs a compatible MFD, monitor, NVR, or IP-video viewer. This version does not include a JCU, so verify whether the camera will be controlled from a compatible MFD or through a separately purchased FLIR controller. Confirm the required IP, HD-SDI, or analog video path along with network bandwidth, ONVIF support, and power requirements.

The camera relies on available ambient light and cannot see through complete darkness like a thermal camera. Low-light results vary with moonlight, shore lighting, glare, haze, rain, spray, target contrast, range, lens condition, zoom level, and camera placement. It is an additional observation aid—not a replacement for radar, navigation lights, charts, lookout responsibilities, or safe operating procedures.

Confirm MFD/monitor compatibility, preferred video output, camera-control method, NMEA/ONVIF integration, PoE+ or 12V/24V power capacity, mount strength, full sweep clearance, cable routes, and whether visible low-light video rather than thermal imaging meets the intended needs before ordering.
