Simrad NSS12 evo3S – MFD Radar Bundle with HALO20+

The larger display provides more room for charts, sonar, radar, and data pages, while the HALO20+ adds fast 60 RPM scanning and target coloring for traffic and weather awareness during cruising, offshore fishing, or night operation. Integration

The bundle includes the MFD and radar scanner, but a complete installation can also require maps, a heading sensor, AIS data source, NMEA 2000 backbone, Ethernet cabling, optional sonar transducer, and correctly sized power circuits. Radar video uses Ethernet, while NMEA 2000 provides compatible navigation and vessel sensor data.

VelocityTrack helps show relative target movement through color-coded radar returns. MARPA and radar overlay depend on accurate heading and position data. The 36 NM figure is an instrumented range, not a guaranteed detection range; radar performance varies with scanner height, target characteristics, rain, sea conditions, clutter, and installation quality.
