The Maretron DSM570 is a 5.7-inch NMEA 2000 multifunction display for monitoring engine, tank, electrical, navigation, and alarm data from one compact screen. Its 640 x 480 VGA display suits a helm or engineering station where the crew needs more than a single depth or temperature gauge. It is a vessel-data display, not a chartplotter with independent mapping.

At 1100 nits, the screen is designed for sunlight-readable use, and IP67 protection supports exposed marine mounting. The DSM570 uses one NMEA 2000 Micro-C connection and can draw up to 600mA, with an NMEA 2000 LEN of 12. That power demand needs to be included when checking backbone loading. It can show data only when compatible sensors, gateways, and engine interfaces are already present on the network.

Who Is This For?

This NMEA 2000 vessel monitoring display suits cruisers, workboats, and engine rooms that need one screen for multiple data pages. It is not ideal for buyers seeking charting, radar, or sonar imaging; it depends on external network sensors and gateways.

Warranty & Support

Maretron provides a 1-year manufacturer warranty. The supplied specifications do not state warranty exclusions or service procedures.

The DSM570 is the more flexible choice than a single-function marine gauge because it can bring several NMEA 2000 data types together on one screen. The trade-off is network demand and setup: it needs a correctly powered NMEA 2000 backbone and compatible source data. Choose it for vessel monitoring, not as a replacement for a chartplotter or sounder.
