The Raymarine EV-200 Power Hydraulic Evolution Autopilot is a complete hydraulic autopilot package for compatible powerboats with steering-cylinder capacities from 80 cc to 230 cc, or 4.9 to 14 cubic inches. It includes a Type 1 12V reversible hydraulic pump, ACU-200 actuator control unit, EV-1 nine-axis sensor core, p70Rs rotary control head, and Evolution cabling kit. This package is intended for existing hydraulic steering systems with correctly matched cylinder volume and hydraulic plumbing.

The ACU-200 supports a 12V supply and provides up to 15A continuous output for the included Type 1 pump. The pump uses 1/4-inch NPT hydraulic connections and is designed for compatible outboard or inboard hydraulic steering systems. The EV-1 supplies heading and motion data, while the p70Rs provides a dedicated rotary-dial control interface. Hoses, fittings, valves, and vessel-specific hydraulic installation parts must be confirmed separately.

System Integration

This package includes the primary autopilot electronics and Type 1 pump, but it does not automatically include every hydraulic fitting, hose, T-connector, isolation valve, or steering-manufacturer-specific adapter. Confirm the actual cylinder volume, system pressure, helm-pump arrangement, line diameter, fitting standard, and pump location before ordering.

Virtual Rudder Feedback may be used on suitable installations, but physical rudder feedback can still be required depending on steering design and operating conditions. The autopilot must be configured around the existing hydraulic system and tested through the manufacturer’s dockside setup and sea-trial procedures.
