Fischer Panda 25i – 25kVA Single-Phase Supersilenced Marine Generator

The Fischer Panda 25i is a variable-speed inverter marine diesel generator for vessels requiring high-capacity 230V, 50Hz single-phase AC power. It delivers 20 kW continuous output, or 25 kVA, through inverter technology that maintains pure sine-wave output while the Kubota V1505-T four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine adjusts speed according to electrical demand.

The generator uses a fully water-cooled closed-circuit system with a freshwater heat exchanger and seawater raw-water circuit. It is enclosed in a 3D sound-insulation fiberglass capsule and uses the iControl2 remote interface with diagnostic and auto-start capability. A complete installation requires correctly engineered fuel, cooling, exhaust, ventilation, electrical distribution, shore-power transfer, grounding, and service-access arrangements.

System Integration

This generator requires a complete high-capacity marine electrical installation. Add diesel fuel supply and return, seawater intake and strainer, wet exhaust system, engine-room ventilation, starting battery, AC distribution, shore-power transfer switch or interlock, grounding and bonding, circuit protection, and appropriately rated single-phase cables.

Confirm that the vessel requires 230V single-phase 50Hz power and calculate continuous demand, simultaneous loads, power factor, and motor-starting surge before selecting a 20 kW generator. Air conditioning, watermakers, galley appliances, battery chargers, pumps, refrigeration, and other high-demand loads should be included in the load calculation.
