The VTE Paguro 12000V is a variable-speed marine diesel generator for 230V, 50Hz single-phase AC systems. It produces 10 kW continuous output, or 12 kVA, using a permanent-magnet alternator and inverter-regulated output. The variable-speed design allows the three-cylinder Lombardini or Kohler FOCS diesel engine to operate from approximately 2,000 to 3,000 RPM according to electrical demand while maintaining the required AC output frequency.

The generator uses freshwater cooling with a seawater heat exchanger and is enclosed in a reinforced soundproof fiberglass canopy. It includes a remote digital control panel with diagnostic display and automatic safety protection for low oil pressure, high coolant temperature, overspeed, and short-circuit conditions. Correct installation requires a properly designed diesel, raw-water, exhaust, ventilation, AC distribution, and starting-battery system.

System Integration

This generator requires a complete marine-generator installation including diesel fuel supply and return lines, raw-water intake and strainer, exhaust system, ventilation, starting-battery circuit, AC distribution panel, transfer switch or shore-power interlock, grounding and bonding arrangement, circuit protection, and suitable marine cabling.

Confirm that the onboard electrical system requires 230V single-phase 50Hz power. Evaluate total continuous demand, maximum simultaneous loads, power factor, battery-charger loads, air-conditioning demand, refrigeration compressors, pumps, galley appliances, and motor-starting surges before selecting generator capacity.

Before Ordering

Confirm required continuous and surge load within 10 kW, 230V single-phase 50Hz compatibility, available 770 mm by 460 mm by 620 mm installation space, support for approximately 175 kg, diesel fuel-system layout, raw-water intake, exhaust route, ventilation capacity, starting-battery connection, remote-panel cable route, AC distribution and transfer-switch design, grounding plan, service access, and qualified marine-generator installation requirements before purchase.
