Current draw runs higher on this unit than its 230V counterpart — 8.7A cooling versus 4.3A — which is expected, since 115V circuits need more amperage to produce the same output. Before installing, it’s worth confirming your panel and breaker can handle the 16–25A fuse range this unit calls for. It’s a documented replacement for the Dometic DTG12, DTU12, Cruisair STQ12/STX12, and equivalent Marine Air, Flagship, and Webasto 115V units.

If 230V power is already available on your boat, the CT-12HN draws less current for the same cooling capacity and is generally the more efficient electrical match — the CT-12N exists specifically for boats without that option.
