Fischer Panda 15000i – 15kVA Three-Phase Supersilenced Marine Generator

The Fischer Panda 15000i 3-Phase is a variable-speed inverter marine diesel generator for vessels using 400V or 230V, 50Hz three-phase AC systems. It provides 12 kW continuous output, or 15 kVA, and uses a Kubota D1105 three-cylinder diesel engine with permanent-magnet inverter technology. The inverter-regulated design maintains stable three-phase output while engine speed adjusts from approximately 2,200 to 2,800 RPM based on electrical demand.

The generator uses dual-circuit water cooling for the engine and alternator, a soundproof composite canopy, and iControl2 remote monitoring with CAN-bus integration. It is intended for properly designed three-phase vessel electrical systems and requires attention to phase balance, power factor, motor-starting demand, AC distribution, transfer switching, grounding, and qualified installation procedures.

System Integration

This generator requires a complete three-phase marine electrical installation. Add diesel fuel feed and return plumbing, raw-water intake and strainer, exhaust system, ventilation, starting battery, correctly rated three-phase AC distribution, shore-power transfer or interlock equipment, grounding and bonding, phase protection, and circuit breakers.

Confirm the vessel requires a 400V or 230V three-phase 50Hz generator and assess phase balancing before purchase. Uneven loading can reduce performance and affect connected equipment. Include continuous load, simultaneous demand, power factor, motor-starting current, and expected future expansion in the generator-sizing calculation.
