The Fischer Panda AGT-DC 4000-24V PMS is a DC marine battery-charging generator for 24V battery systems. It delivers 3.2 kW continuous charging power at 28.8V DC and up to 110A nominal charging current. Unlike a conventional AC generator, it is designed to charge a battery bank directly through its integrated automatic generator control, which regulates engine speed according to the battery’s charging demand.

The hybrid-power generator uses a Fischer Panda single-cylinder FPE320 diesel engine and permanent-magnet generator technology in a water-cooled sound-insulation capsule. It is suited to vessels using a 24V battery bank with inverter-based AC power, high hotel loads, or a need for automatic battery charging. It does not supply direct 230V AC output unless a separate compatible inverter system is installed.

System Integration

This is a DC charging generator, not a conventional AC genset. It is intended to recharge a compatible 24V battery bank, which can then supply AC loads through a correctly sized inverter. Confirm battery chemistry, recommended charging voltage and current, battery-bank capacity, battery-management system compatibility, inverter capacity, DC distribution, fuse and disconnect requirements, and cable size before purchase.

The automatic control system can manage charging operation based on battery condition, but installation must still provide correct ventilation, fuel supply, raw-water cooling, exhaust, battery isolation, and safe DC fault protection. Lithium battery installations require verification with the battery and BMS manufacturer before connection.
