Gain thermal awareness around the boat without installing a large camera turret with the FLIR M232 9 Hz Pan/Tilt Marine Thermal Camera. Its compact 320 × 240 thermal core, continuous 360° pan, and stabilized view help operators scan shorelines, floating objects, and nearby vessel activity during night runs, haze, or low-contrast conditions. Need an IP thermal camera for a Raymarine-compatible helm? The M232 delivers H.264 network video, 4× digital zoom, ClearCruise Analytics support, and 12V/24V operation in a compact marine housing.

Integration

The M232 needs a compatible MFD, monitor, or network video viewer; it is not a standalone chartplotter, radar, or GPS receiver. Ethernet carries its video stream, while NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 can provide compatible vessel-data and control inputs. Confirm MFD compatibility, available network ports, video support, and required RayNet adapters before installation.

FLIR lists the M232 with 320 × 240 thermal resolution, 9 Hz refresh, 24° × 18° field of view, 4× continuous digital zoom, and ClearCruise Analytics support on select Raymarine displays. [861] Thermal imaging assists situational awareness but cannot guarantee detection or identification of people, vessels, markers, debris, or hazards in every condition.

Before Ordering

Confirm compatible MFD or monitor support, Ethernet-video integration, NMEA data needs, 12V/24V power capacity, camera mounting orientation, cable routes, and whether 9 Hz thermal video meets the intended operating requirements.
