FLIR M324S – Single Payload Thermal Marine Camera
Spotting unlit watercraft up to 0.67 nautical miles, a FLIR M324S thermal sensor rotates a 320×240 microbolometer across 360-degree pan and tilt axes, using integrated gyro stabilization and analog BNC output across 12V/24V power at 9.0 lbs.
- Integrated gyro stabilization eliminates sea roll jitter
- 320×240 microbolometer identifies floating nighttime debris
- 360-degree continuous pan provides full horizon coverage
Add stabilized thermal awareness to a legacy analog helm with the FLIR M324S Single Payload Thermal Marine Camera. Its 320 × 240 thermal core, 24° × 18° field of view, and continuous pan-and-tilt movement help operators observe heat contrast from vessels, docks, shorelines, and nearby activity in darkness or low-visibility conditions. Need a thermal PTZ camera that can connect to a composite-video display? The M324S uses analog BNC output, 2× digital zoom, and an integrated gyro-stabilized platform controlled through a compatible FLIR JCU.
Integration
The M324S requires a compatible analog-video monitor, MFD video input, or DVR, plus a FLIR JCU for control. It is not an Ethernet IP camera, ONVIF device, NMEA 2000 camera, chartplotter, radar, GPS receiver, or standalone display. Confirm BNC composite-video compatibility, controller availability, and 12V/24V power requirements before installation.
Approximate observation distances of 1,500 ft for a person and 0.67 NM for a vessel are conditional estimates, not guarantees of detection or identification. Thermal performance depends on target heat contrast, weather, humidity, rain, spray, sea state, distance, lens condition, and camera installation.
Before Ordering
Confirm composite-video display compatibility, required FLIR JCU availability, 12V/24V power capacity, camera mounting position, full pan-and-tilt clearance, viewing requirements, cable route, and whether 320 × 240 thermal resolution suits the intended use before ordering.
