FLIR M332 – Thermal Camera 320×256 24-Degree HFoV (No JCU)
Gyroscopic two-axis stabilization counters rough sea pitch, allowing a FLIR M332 thermal camera to stream 320×256 thermal video across a 24-degree field of view, detecting human targets up to 1,500 feet at 14.1 lbs.
- Two-axis gyro stabilization eliminates wave jitter
- 320×256 thermal core detects overboard personnel
- 24-degree field of view widens scanning
- Draws 41W maximum with internal heaters
Bring compact stabilized thermal viewing to a compatible marine display with the FLIR M332 24° Thermal Camera. Its 320 × 256 thermal core, 24° × 18° field of view, and integrated gyro stabilization give boaters a practical pan-and-tilt thermal option for checking nearby shorelines, docks, floating objects, and vessel activity after dark. Need thermal awareness without moving to a larger 640-resolution camera? The M332 supports H.264 IP, HD-SDI, and analog video, along with 4× digital zoom and continuous 360° panning.
Integration
The M332 requires a compatible MFD, monitor, NVR, or IP-video viewer. Because this version does not include a JCU, select a compatible MFD control method or separately purchase an appropriate FLIR controller. Confirm video protocol support, Ethernet bandwidth, ONVIF compatibility, selected video output, camera-control requirements, and PoE+ capacity before purchase.
Approximate detection figures of 1,500 ft for a person and 0.67 NM for a vessel are conditional estimates rather than guaranteed detection or recognition distances. Thermal performance changes with temperature contrast, weather, target size, humidity, rain, spray, sea state, lens cleanliness, camera placement, and user settings.
Before Ordering
Confirm compatible MFD/monitor support, IP/HD-SDI/analog-video connection requirements, desired controller method, NMEA/ONVIF integration, power capacity, mounting orientation, full PTZ clearance, and whether 320 × 256 thermal resolution meets the intended use before ordering.
