The 640 × 512 thermal core, 18° field of view, and two-axis gyro stabilization provide a controlled thermal image for operators monitoring waterway traffic, shorelines, docks, and nearby activity in darkness or difficult weather. The M364 combines continuous 360° pan, 4× digital zoom, Color Thermal Vision, and network video for compatible marine displays.
Integration
The M364 needs a compatible MFD, monitor, or IP video viewer. It does not include a chartplotter, display, radar, or GNSS receiver. Ethernet carries its video, while NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 can provide compatible heading, positioning, and control data. Confirm the network video protocols and PTZ controls supported by the intended display before installation.
Thermal imaging can help reveal heat contrast but cannot guarantee recognition or detection of every vessel, person, buoy, animal, floating object, or hazard. Results vary with weather, humidity, spray, range, temperature contrast, sea conditions, lens condition, and user settings.
