Integration

The DRS12AX is not a complete radar system. It needs a compatible 4-foot or 6-foot Furuno X-Class antenna, the correct radar cable, 24V DC supply or approved power-supply solution, and a compatible Furuno NavNet display system for radar control and video.

The antenna determines horizontal beamwidth: Furuno lists approximately 1.9° for the 4-foot XN12A array and 1.35° for the 6-foot XN13A array. The scanner’s 12 kW nominal output and up-to-96-NM instrumented range are system specifications, not a guarantee of real-world target detection. [766][763]
