Garmin STRIKER Vivid 9sv Fishfinder w/GT52HW-TM

The Garmin STRIKER Vivid 9sv is a 9-inch fishfinder with an included GT52HW-TM transducer, traditional CHIRP, ClearVü, SideVü, internal GPS, and Quickdraw Contours. It is designed for anglers who want sonar and waypoint marking in one unit without paying for a full marine chartplotter system. The keyed controls keep operation straightforward on a moving fishing boat.

The 800 x 480 screen provides a practical view of CHIRP, ClearVü, and SideVü, while Vivid color palettes let the operator choose a display style that makes targets easier to see. The GT52HW-TM handles the included sonar functions, and internal GPS supports position marking and Quickdraw mapping. This is a fishfinder-only product with no external mapping or SD card slot, so it is better for fishing and depth work than for detailed coastal navigation.

Who Is This For?

This 9-inch Garmin fishfinder suits bass boats, freshwater fishing boats, bay boats, and anglers who want CHIRP, ClearVü, and SideVü in one package. It is not ideal for detailed coastal chart navigation because it has no external mapping or SD card slot.

Warranty & Support

Garmin provides a 1-year limited warranty. The supplied specifications do not state warranty exclusions or service procedures.

The STRIKER Vivid 9sv is the fishing-focused option here, with a larger screen and more sonar views than the 5-inch STRIKER Vivid 5cv. Its trade-off is the lack of detailed charting and network expansion. Choose it when the priority is finding fish and marking spots, not building a full offshore navigation system.
