Integration
The A118 requires a compatible analog HD monitor, DVR, MFD video input, or video interface, plus an RS485 controller for PTZ functions. It is not an Ethernet IP camera, ONVIF device, NMEA 2000 camera, chartplotter, radar, or GPS receiver. Confirm the receiving equipment supports the selected AHD, TVI, CVI, or CVBS format before installation.
The published approximate human observation distance of 820 ft is a conditional estimate, not a guaranteed detection or identification range. Low-light and IR performance depend on weather, rain, fog, spray, target reflectivity, lighting, zoom level, lens cleanliness, and mounting location.
