Bring compatible IP camera controls into a Garmin OneHelm helm without adding onboard recording hardware using the Iris Control Gateway for Garmin OneHelm. This compact interface connects supported IP cameras to a compatible Garmin MFD, providing a centralized camera-control path while leaving recording to an optional separate NVR. Need PTZ and camera management on the chartplotter but do not need a built-in hard drive? The IRIS-OH-IP-NR supports wired Ethernet integration for protected interior installations.
Integration
This gateway is not a camera, MFD, NVR, PoE switch, GPS receiver, or radar. It needs compatible IP cameras, a supported Garmin OneHelm MFD, an appropriately designed Ethernet network, and any required PoE power source for the connected cameras. It provides camera integration and control but does not store video.
Confirm each camera’s ONVIF or manufacturer-specific compatibility, video codec, IP address, network bandwidth, and PTZ-control requirements. If recorded video is needed, select a separate compatible Iris recorder or NVR rather than this non-recording gateway.
