Lowrance Elite FS 7 Chartplotter/Fishfinder with HDI Transom Mount Transducer

The Lowrance Elite FS 7 is a compact chartplotter and fishfinder for anglers who want a 7-inch multi-touch display, an HDI Skimmer transducer, C-MAP Contour+ US/Canada charts, and broad network connectivity. The included transducer supports Medium/High CHIRP and DownScan, while ActiveTarget support and Power-Pole integration give the system room to expand on a fishing boat.

Who Is This For?

This unit suits bass boats, aluminum fishing boats, bay boats, and smaller coastal craft that need charting, fishfinding, and network expansion in one display. The included HDI transducer makes it suitable for a new installation.

It is not ideal for a large vessel where a 10- or 12-inch screen would make chart and sonar split views easier to read. The included transducer also does not provide the SideScan coverage listed with some larger imaging packages.

Warranty & Support

Lowrance provides a 2-year limited warranty. The supplied specifications do not state warranty exclusions or service procedures.

The Elite FS 7 is a good middle-ground choice for anglers who want an included HDI transducer today but may add ActiveTarget or Power-Pole control later. It offers broader confirmed networking than a basic compact fishfinder, while its 7-inch size fits many fishing-boat consoles. The trade-off is that its 800 x 480 screen provides less viewing area than larger MFDs, and the included transducer does not list SideScan.
