Integration
The HALO20 requires a compatible Lowrance MFD and Ethernet connection for radar control and video. NMEA 2000 can provide compatible heading, GPS, AIS, autopilot, and sensor data, but radar video is carried through Ethernet. MARPA and radar overlay require valid heading and position information.
Lowrance documents the HALO20 with a 20-inch dome, range settings from 100 m to 24 NM, 9V–31.2V DC input at the scanner, and 3.9W typical standby power. [920] The stated 24 NM range is an instrumented range and does not guarantee detection distance in all conditions.
