Minn Kota 1363421 52in RipTide SM RT55 Bow-Mount Trolling Motor
Eliminating the vulnerability of electronics in harsh coastal environments, the Minn Kota Riptide SM 55 (Saltwater Maxxum) is the gold standard for simplistic saltwater durability. This motor is specifically designed for American inshore anglers who prefer a rugged, hand-controlled bow mount that can survive years of salt spray and high-salinity conditions. For the USA operator, the 55 lbs of thrust on a 12V system is the perfect efficient solution for bay boats and flats skiffs, while the 52-inch shaft provides ample reach to navigate tidal currents without the added weight of a multi-battery bank.
The Riptide SM features advanced corrosion protection, including grit-blasted aluminum and encapsulated electronics, paired with a sacrificial anode to fight galvanic corrosion. Its tilt/extend tiller handle offers ergonomic control, while the indestructible composite shaft flexes on impact with oyster bars or sandbars. This motor offers the American maritime market a bulletproof, manual-control saltwater tool that prioritizes structural integrity and reliable performance above all else.
