Integration
The IP CAM-1 requires a compatible Simrad or Lowrance MFD, monitor, NVR, or IP-video viewer. It is not a chartplotter, radar, GPS receiver, PoE switch, wireless camera, or recorder. Confirm camera compatibility, Ethernet-network capacity, PoE availability, IP address setup, and display video support before installation.
The fixed camera can supplement awareness around the vessel, but image quality depends on lighting, glare, rain, spray, lens cleanliness, camera position, and network conditions. It does not replace radar, navigation lights, charts, visual lookout, or safe vessel operation.
