Integration
The Cyclone requires a compatible Raymarine MFD and RayNet Ethernet connection for radar control and video. SeaTalkng/NMEA 2000 can provide compatible GPS, heading, AIS, autopilot, and other vessel-sensor data. ARPA and radar overlay require valid heading and position sources.
The 72 NM figure is an instrumented range, not a guarantee of target detection at that distance. Antenna height, target size, precipitation, sea state, clutter, settings, and installation quality affect actual results. Radar is a navigation aid and does not replace a proper lookout, safe speed, current charts, or navigation-rule compliance.
