The Raymarine Cyclone Pro Radar with 3 Foot Open Array and 15 m Cables is a high-power solid-state CHIRP pulse-compression radar system for compatible Raymarine multifunction displays. It combines a 110W Cyclone Pro pedestal, three-foot open array, and 15 m radar cable package to provide Doppler target highlighting, ARPA tracking, Bird Mode, and fast radar updates. The compact three-foot array is suited to installations that need an open-array radar while preserving clearance on hardtops, arches, masts, and radar platforms.

The system offers a maximum instrumented range of up to 96 NM and rotation speeds up to 100 RPM. The three-foot array has an approximately 2.83-degree horizontal beamwidth for improved target separation compared with a compact radome. Practical target detection depends on mounting height, target size, weather, sea conditions, radar settings, antenna obstruction, and installation quality.

Radar Integration

The Cyclone Pro system requires a compatible Raymarine multifunction display and RayNet Ethernet connection. SeaTalkng or NMEA 2000 can provide heading, GPS, AIS, autopilot, and other compatible vessel data, but radar video and scanner control use RayNet Ethernet rather than NMEA 2000.

ARPA tracking and radar overlay require compatible heading and position data where applicable. Doppler processing can help highlight moving targets, while Bird Mode can assist with locating bird activity, subject to radar settings, target movement, mounting height, weather, sea state, and operating conditions. Radar is a navigation aid and does not replace a proper lookout, safe speed, official charts, local notices, or collision-regulation compliance.

Warranty and Saltwater Care

Raymarine warranty coverage varies by region, distributor, proof of purchase, product registration, installation method, and intended use. Confirm applicable local warranty terms, exclusions, registration requirements, and service process before purchase.

The Cyclone Pro scanner is designed for marine exposure and has IPX6 ingress protection, but this is not a guarantee against saltwater corrosion. Rinse salt deposits with fresh water where appropriate, avoid high-pressure spray at cable glands and connectors, inspect the array, pedestal, fasteners, cable seals, and mounting platform regularly, and use compatible marine-grade hardware plus approved isolation methods to reduce galvanic-corrosion risk.

Before Ordering

Confirm compatible Raymarine MFD support, RayNet Ethernet connection, suitability of the included 15 m cable route, 10.2V to 31.2V power supply, maximum 195W electrical capacity, three-foot array rotation clearance, mounting-platform strength, mounting height, personnel and compass-safe-distance requirements, heading and GPS source for ARPA or overlay, optional AIS integration, and qualified installation requirements before purchase.
