Built for anglers replacing an aging chartplotter who already have a compatible transducer installed, or anyone who wants to choose their own transducer rather than accept a bundled one. It’s the wrong pick if you’re starting from scratch — HyperVision and RealVision 3D need an HV-compatible transducer connected before they show anything, and none is included here.

The math on this one is straightforward: if an HV-compatible transducer is already installed or you’re buying one separately anyway, this version costs less for identical imaging performance. If you’re not certain your existing transducer is HV-compatible, the bundled version removes that risk entirely.
