Raymarine Quantum 2 Q24D – Doppler Radar with 10M Power & Data Cables

Need a radar that can make moving returns easier to notice? The Quantum 2 uses CHIRP pulse compression and Doppler target coloring, delivering up to 24 NM of instrumented range in an 18-inch dome.

Integration

The Quantum 2 requires a compatible Raymarine MFD for radar control and display. Radar video is carried through Wi-Fi or RayNet Ethernet; SeaTalkng/NMEA 2000 can provide compatible GPS, heading, AIS, autopilot, and other sensor data. MARPA and radar overlay require valid heading and position inputs.

Doppler color can help distinguish moving returns, but it does not guarantee target identity or collision avoidance. The 24 NM figure is an instrumented range, not a guaranteed detection distance. Weather, target size, scanner height, rain, sea state, clutter, settings, and installation quality affect performance.
