Use the Raymarine Type 2 Long Linear Autopilot Drive 12V, SKU M81132, as a high-capacity electromechanical actuator for a compatible mechanically steered vessel. This is a drive unit only and requires a Raymarine ACU-400 actuator control unit, compatible control head, heading sensor, power circuit, and correctly engineered steering linkage. It is intended for boats up to 20,000 kg, or 44,000 lb, displacement.

The Type 2 Long drive provides up to 400 mm, or 16 inches, of maximum stroke. It is suitable for mechanical tiller, quadrant, and cable-steering backbones when the mounting structure and linkage geometry are designed for the load. The unit weighs 10.5 kg, draws up to 10A during active duty, and includes integrated mechanical rudder feedback.
