Integration

The T-2011-4.5 includes its own display for basic radar operation. ATA tracking, heading-up orientation, AIS overlay, and related navigation features may require compatible external GPS, heading, speed, or AIS data sources, depending on how the system is configured.

Guard zones can alert the operator to returns entering a selected area, but they are not a substitute for watchkeeping. The 48 NM figure is an instrumented range, and real-world target detection depends on installation height, target properties, weather, rain, sea clutter, nearby obstructions, and radar settings.
