SI-TEX Professional Dual Range Radar w/6kW 6 Open Array – 10.4 Color TFT LCD Display

Improve bearing separation on a commercial or offshore radar installation with the SI-TEX T-2021-6, a 6 kW magnetron system paired with a 6-foot open array. The longer antenna gives the system a narrow 1.2° horizontal beam, which can help distinguish clustered radar returns while running coastal routes, monitoring fishing grounds, or tracking vessel traffic after dark. This radar combines a 10.4-inch color TFT screen, dual-range operation, and AIS overlay capability when compatible NMEA data is supplied.

Integration

The T-2021-6 includes its own dedicated radar display. AIS overlay requires a compatible AIS receiver or transponder and properly configured NMEA data input. Heading, position, and speed sources may also be required for selected display orientations, tracking functions, and navigational overlays.

The 64 NM maximum is an instrumented range. Actual detection performance varies with the 6-foot array’s installation height, target size, weather, rain, sea state, clutter, radar adjustments, and obstructions around the scanner.

Confirm available 6-foot sweep clearance, mount strength, display space, 10.8V–41.6V DC supply, cable routing, AIS/NMEA input requirements, and the vessel’s ability to support a 54 lb array-and-gearbox assembly before ordering.
