Simrad GO9 XSE Chartplotter/Fishfinder w/Active Imaging 3-in-1 Transom Mount Transducer & C-MAP Discover Chart

The Simrad GO9 XSE bundle combines a 9-inch SolarMAX multi-touch display with C-MAP Discover North America charts and an included Active Imaging 3-in-1 transducer. CHIRP, SideScan, and DownScan provide broad sonar coverage, while NMEA 2000, Ethernet, WiFi, and Bluetooth support system expansion. Compatibility with HALO, Broadband 3G/4G, and HD radar gives this compact unit room to grow.

Who Is This For?

This bundle suits coastal fishing boats, bay boats, center consoles, and small cruisers that need a 9-inch display with charts and a transducer included. The 3-in-1 sonar package covers conventional and side-looking views from one transducer.

It is not ideal for a large offshore helm where a 12- or 16-inch display would be easier to read. The 800 x 480 resolution also provides less detail than larger Full HD MFDs.

Warranty & Support

Simrad provides a 2-year standard warranty. The supplied specifications do not state warranty exclusions or service procedures.

The GO9 XSE bundle is the balanced option between the compact Garmin ECHOMAP and the much larger Furuno MFDs, with a 9-inch display, included 3-in-1 transducer, C-MAP charts, and radar expansion. Its main trade-off is the 800 x 480 resolution, which provides less pixel detail than the Furuno TZtouch3 9. Choose it when included sonar hardware and radar compatibility matter more than higher display resolution.
