The 300X pedestal supports VelocityTrack Doppler, ZoneTrack, Bird Mode+, and an instrumented range up to 96 NM when completed with the required RI-50 interface and compatible components.

Integration

The HALO 300X is a pedestal-only component. A complete system requires a compatible HALO array, RI-50 interface module, interconnection cable, compatible Simrad MFD, Ethernet network connection, power circuit, and suitable mounting platform. The RI-50—not the pedestal—provides the network interface and converts the vessel’s 12V or 24V supply to the pedestal’s nominal 50V DC input.

Range and beamwidth depend on the selected antenna. Simrad lists the HALO 3000 platform at 130W with a maximum 96 NM range; antenna options include 3-foot, 4-foot, and 6-foot arrays, with the 6-foot option providing the narrowest published beam. [799][803]
