The Simrad HALO 4 Foot Open Array Radar Antenna Only is a replacement radiator bar for compatible Simrad HALO open-array radar pedestals. This four-foot antenna is not a complete radar system: it does not include a pedestal, transmitter, radar cable, chartplotter, power supply, mounting platform, heading sensor, or GPS source. When fitted to a compatible HALO pedestal, the four-foot array provides the antenna beam pattern for the completed radar scanner.

The 4 ft array provides an approximately 1.8-degree horizontal beamwidth and 22-degree vertical beamwidth. Radar output power, instrumented range, rotation speed, VelocityTrack Doppler capability, Bird Mode, MARPA performance, and target-tracking functions depend on the paired HALO pedestal and compatible Simrad display. Radar Integration

This antenna must be paired with a compatible Simrad HALO open-array pedestal and supported Simrad MFD connected through Ethernet for radar video and scanner control. NMEA 2000 can provide compatible GPS, heading, AIS, autopilot, and sensor data, but it does not carry radar video.

MARPA, radar overlay, VelocityTrack Doppler, Bird Mode, and target-tracking functions depend on the paired radar pedestal, display software, heading source, GPS data, and complete system configuration. Radar is a navigation aid and does not replace a proper lookout, safe speed, official charts, local notices, or collision-regulation compliance.
