Simrad HALO-4 – 4-Foot Open Array Radar Antenna Only

Replace a damaged 4-foot open-array radiator without replacing the complete radar scanner with the Simrad HALO-4 Antenna Array Only. The array provides the physical antenna element for a compatible HALO pedestal and its 1.8° horizontal beamwidth supports detailed bearing separation in the finished radar system. Need to retain an existing HALO pedestal while refreshing the array? This replacement component installs on a matched HALO scanner base and relies on that pedestal for transmit power, signal processing, rotation, and radar networking.

Integration

The array does not transmit radar energy, receive returns independently, power itself, or display radar video. It requires a compatible Simrad HALO pedestal, correct radar interface and cable arrangement, a supported Simrad MFD or radar display, and a properly designed power/network installation.

Beamwidth is determined by the physical 4-foot radiator, while output power, Doppler functions, target tracking, range, scan speed, and dual-range availability come from the matched pedestal and display system. Simrad lists the complete HALO-4 system as a 25W pulse-compression radar with a 4-foot array, 1.8° beamwidth, and up to 64 NM range. [903]
