The Simrad NSO 4 22 is a 21.5-inch integrated glass helm MFD with C-MAP Discover X North America charts, Full HD resolution, multi-GNSS support, and a multi-touch interface with remote keypad support. Dual Ethernet, NMEA 2000, NMEA 0183, J1939, and video connections suit large offshore vessels, commercial fleets, and premium yachts that need a central navigation display.
Who Is This For?
This MFD suits luxury offshore sportfishers, superyachts, coastal commercial fleets, and 35- to 80-foot vessels with a dedicated glass bridge helm. Its large screen is useful when navigation, radar, engine telemetry, and video must remain visible together.
It is not ideal for a small recreational boat or a simple chartplotter installation. The system requires substantial mounting space and separate sonar or radar modules for a complete electronics setup.
