The VTE Paguro 6500 is a compact 6.5 kVA marine diesel generator that supplies 230V, 50Hz single-phase AC power at a fixed 3,000 RPM operating speed. It uses a water-cooled Lombardini LDW 702 FOCS diesel engine and a brushless alternator in a soundproof fiberglass enclosure. The generator is intended for onboard AC loads on sailboats and powerboats where 6 kW continuous output is appropriate for the vessel electrical-demand profile.

The generator produces 6 kW, or 6.5 kVA, continuous output and has a listed fuel consumption of approximately 1.7 L per hour at 75% load. Its freshwater and seawater cooling arrangement, remote control panel, warning indicators, hour meter, and automatic protection functions support a complete marine-generator installation. Fuel supply, exhaust, cooling-water plumbing, electrical distribution, structural mounting, and service access must be planned separately.

System Integration

This generator requires a complete marine electrical and mechanical installation. Add correctly designed diesel fuel supply and return lines, seawater intake and strainer, exhaust system, ventilation, starting battery, AC breaker panel, transfer switch or shore-power interlock, grounding arrangement, and correctly rated cables. Installation should be completed and tested by a qualified marine-generator technician.

Evaluate generator capacity against continuous loads and starting surges. Air conditioning, refrigeration, battery charging, watermakers, galley appliances, pumps, and motor-driven equipment can produce substantial peak demand. Confirm 230V and 50Hz compatibility with the onboard electrical system before selecting the generator.

Before Ordering

Confirm required continuous and surge electrical load, 230V single-phase 50Hz compatibility, 660 mm by 460 mm by 500 mm installation space, 130 kg structural support, diesel fuel-system layout, seawater intake, exhaust routing, ventilation, battery-start circuit, remote-panel cable route, AC distribution and transfer-switch arrangement, service access, and qualified marine-generator installation requirements before purchase.
