Compact cabin layouts can still benefit from both heating and cooling when the electrical system uses 230V power. The Webasto BlueCool S10 delivers 10,000 BTU/h of cooling and 10,000 BTU/h of reverse-cycle heating, equivalent to 2.93 kW of cooling. Its supplied application guidance places the unit in cabin profiles up to 400 cubic feet with a minimum generator capacity of 2.5 kW.
Who This Unit Is Not Ideal For
This model is not suitable for 115V-only vessels or larger cabins that require more than 10,000 BTU/h. It may also be unnecessary for spaces that do not need heating. Final sizing should consider the actual cabin volume and thermal load.
