Zodiac Cadet 270 ALU 8’10” Aluminum Floor Inflatable

Review the floor, keel, and transom requirements of the Zodiac Cadet 270 ALU Z11005 before selecting an outboard. This 2.70 m, or 8 ft 10 in, foldable inflatable boat uses sectional non-slip anodized aluminum floor panels with a wooden bow board and an inflatable V-keel. The listed 46 kg, or 101 lb, net weight and 1.02 x 0.60 x 0.33 m transport-bag dimensions are key considerations for storage and handling.

The hull has three tube chambers plus one inflatable-keel chamber, with Zodiac semi-recessed flush valves specified. Maximum ISO capacity is three persons plus one child, and the maximum payload is 450 kg, or 992 lb. A 15-inch short-shaft outboard is required, with 6 HP recommended, 8 HP maximum, and 42 kg, or 93 lb, maximum engine weight.

Before Ordering the Zodiac Cadet 270 ALU Inflatable Boat

Confirm that you need the sectional aluminum floor and inflatable V-keel configuration rather than the roll-up floor alternative. You should verify that your storage and handling plan supports the 46 kg net weight and 1.02 x 0.60 x 0.33 m bag dimensions, use a 15-inch short-shaft outboard, stay at or below 8 HP and 42 kg engine weight, and remain within the stated passenger and payload limits.
