Using a light hand-laid fiberglass V-hull, the AB Inflatables Ventus 9 VL is a 2.90 m, or 9 ft 6 in, open fiberglass RIB and yacht tender with a single deck and non-skid surface. Three ORCA CSM 1100 dtex buoyancy tubes use cold-cured hand-laminated seams. At 60 kg, or 132 lb, the boat should be matched with the planned lifting, trailer, dock, and storage arrangement. Its open layout includes a removable fiberglass rowing bench and bow locker with storage.

ISO capacity is four persons, while the 430 kg, or 948 lb, maximum payload sets the stated passenger and cargo limit. The transom requires a 15-inch short-shaft outboard, with 9.9 HP recommended, 15 HP maximum, and a 52 kg, or 115 lb, engine-weight limit. Leafield C7 Push-Push valves serve the three buoyancy chambers, and CE Category C applies to the stated inshore and coastal classification.
