The Fischer Panda 5000i Neo is a variable-speed inverter marine diesel generator for 230V, 50Hz single-phase AC systems. It delivers up to 4 kW nominal output, or 5 kVA, with continuous output up to 3.6 kW. Its permanent-magnet inverter system allows the single-cylinder Fischer Panda FPE320 diesel engine to operate at approximately 2,500 to 3,250 RPM depending on electrical demand while maintaining stable AC voltage and frequency.

The generator is fully water cooled and enclosed in a Fischer Panda GFK 3DS sound-insulation capsule. It includes an iControl remote-control system with digital display and automatic start capability. It is intended for suitably designed onboard AC systems and requires complete integration with diesel fuel, cooling water, exhaust, ventilation, AC distribution, shore-power transfer, grounding, circuit protection, and starting-battery equipment.

System Integration

This generator requires a complete marine AC installation including fuel supply and return, seawater intake and strainer, wet exhaust system, engine-room ventilation, starting battery, AC distribution, transfer switch or shore-power interlock, grounding and bonding, circuit breakers, and correctly rated cabling. The separate inverter module also requires an appropriately protected and serviceable mounting location.

Confirm that onboard equipment requires 230V, 50Hz single-phase power and that continuous demand remains within 3.6 kW. Consider simultaneous load, power factor, and motor-starting current from refrigeration, air conditioning, pumps, battery chargers, and galley equipment before selecting generator capacity.

Before Ordering

Confirm required continuous and surge electrical load within 3.6 kW, 230V single-phase 50Hz compatibility, separate generator and inverter mounting space, diesel fuel-system layout, seawater intake, exhaust route, ventilation capacity, starting-battery circuit, remote-control cable route, AC distribution and transfer-switch design, grounding plan, service access, and qualified marine-generator installation requirements before purchase.
