At a large bridge helm, the chartplotter becomes the place where radar, cameras, routes, sounder pages, and engine data meet. The Furuno TZT24X is a 24-inch glass bridge MFD built for that job. Its full-size screen is meant for serious offshore boats, commercial vessels, and premium sportfishers where several systems need to remain visible at the same time.

The 1920 x 1080 IPS display and 1200-nit brightness give the operator a large, readable working area in daylight. Three LAN ports make it practical to connect a wider network of Furuno equipment, while HDMI input and output support video integration. TZ MAPS supports vector, raster, and satellite charts. This is not an all-in-one fishfinder: the TZT24X uses external DFF Series network sounders, so the sounder and transducer should be chosen around the hull and intended fishing depth.

Who Is This For?

This 24-inch glass bridge display suits offshore fishing vessels, commercial boats, and luxury cruisers with a dedicated helm. It is not right for a compact console or a buyer wanting transducer-included sonar; a compatible DFF Series sounder is required.

Warranty & Support

Furuno provides a 2-year standard warranty. The supplied specifications do not state exclusions or service procedures.

The TZT24X is the choice when maximum screen area matters more than compact installation. Compared with the TZT22X, it gives the bridge more room for radar, charting, and video, which is useful on a working offshore boat. The trade-off is its larger cutout, 85W maximum draw, and external sounder requirement. It belongs in a professionally planned vessel system, not a casual retrofit.
