A 500W motor and a low-profile vertical gypsy make theMaxwell RC6a compact 12V rope-to-chain windlass. It has a stated maximum pull of 770 lbs and a 254 lbs continuous working-load rating. The heavy chrome-plated bronze deck unit uses marine stainless steel components within the listed assembly.

The gypsy accepts 1/4 in short-link chain with 1/2 in three-strand or 8-plait rope. The patented Wave Design gypsy includes an emergency manual release. This configuration provides anchor rode handling without a separate capstan drum.
