The Navico NAC-1 Outboard Hydraulic Autopilot Pack is a 12V hydraulic autopilot system for compatible single-engine outboard boats up to 30 ft. The package includes a NAC-1 course computer, Pump-1 MKII 0.8 L reversible hydraulic pump, Point-1 AP heading and GPS sensor, and NMEA 2000 components. A compatible Simrad, Lowrance, or B&G multifunction display is required for setup and autopilot control. [293][303]
The NAC-1 provides 8A continuous motor-drive output and 16A peak output for one second. The Pump-1 MKII is a 12V reversible gear pump rated at 0.8 L per minute at 24 bar, with 1/4-inch NPT hydraulic ports. Navico identifies the package as suitable for outboard hydraulic steering, while Point-1 AP supplies GPS and heading information over NMEA 2000. [293][294]
