The Phasor JD4-65.0 is a high-capacity commercial marine diesel generator for vessels requiring 65 kW of 120/240V single-phase 60Hz AC power. It uses a John Deere 4045TFM turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine operating at 1,800 RPM and a direct-coupled brushless generator with solid-state voltage regulation. The base configuration is open frame, with a sound enclosure available as an optional configuration for installations requiring additional attenuation.
The generator uses freshwater heat-exchanger cooling with a raw-water circuit. It includes a deluxe remote instrument panel with engine and electrical monitoring, automatic shutdown for low oil pressure, high coolant temperature, and overspeed protection. This is a high-capacity generator that requires professional load assessment, heavy-duty structural support, substantial ventilation, marine fuel supply, exhaust, cooling, distribution, grounding, and transfer-switch design.
